US Federal Funding Available for the BrainAhead Program
Do you know that your school can be funded for certain programs, in response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic?
The BrainAhead program meets US federal funding eligibility requirements as well as multiple state and local grant requirements. In other words, individual educators, schools and districts can secure funding for the purchase and implementation of BrainAhead. US funding for the BrainAhead Program
American Rescue Plan (ARP)
Authorized in March 2021
Recognizing the ongoing challenges that schools face in responding to and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic and learning disruption, the federal government of the United States authorized a third stimulus package in March 2021. President Biden has signed the American Rescue Plan (ARP), which includes nearly $130 billion for elementary and secondary schools.
Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES)
Authorized in March 2020 and 2021
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed in March 2020. The Act includes $13 billion for elementary and secondary schools, and $3 billion for state governors to support schools in response to COVID-19.
Note: The CARES Act is often referred to as ESSER or ESSER I
Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA)
Authorized in March 2020 and 2021
The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act of 2021 provides more than $35 billion for elementary and secondary schools, and is in addition to the previously approved CARES Act.
Note: The CRRSA is often referred to as ESSER II
